Shuttle Driver
Summary of Job Duties:
Under direct supervision, perform the driving duties of transferring materials between facilities and other warehouse functions when necessary. Assist with other inventory, warehouse, and distribution tasks and responsibilities as requested by management.
Specific Job Duties:
- Drive the company truck 16’ or 26’ bobtail between facilities.
- Maintain trucking logs and time records of distances driven and other required information.
- Ability to use forklift and pallet jacks to load and unload products and materials.
- Perform warehouse operations as necessary.
- Use of handheld scanners and packaging materials.
- Must be able to lift 75# packages.
- Perform daily and weekly vehicle inspections, and advise of any issues.
- All other tasks as assigned by Threshold management.
Minimum Qualifications Required:
- 2 + years of experience operating forklifts and delivery vehicles.
- Demonstrated experience to perform well under limited supervision.
- Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
- Must have a valid CA Driver’s License, Must pass a DMV records background check.
- Demonstrated ability to care for equipment and vehicles and report problems with same.
- Must have basic math skills and pass a company test at 70% or higher.
- Must be able to bend, stretch, twist, reach, lift, push, pull, 75#
Skills and/or Training Desired:
- Prior experience in positions with increasing responsibilities.
- Basic computer skills, Microsoft Word, Excel desired.
