Inside Sales – Product Specialist
Summary of Job Duties
Under the general direction of the Director of Sales, to perform inside phone sales to retail accounts for specific products in the Detail Program.
Specific Job Duties:
Perform outbound sales calls to retail accounts for specific products indentified by Sales Management.
Identify those accounts which do not currently purchase the products and present the products to retail buyer.
Provide product information and deals specific to the placement of the products.
Take orders from customers and process.
Follow all department and company policies.
Any and all other tasks as assigned by the Management staff.
Minimum Qualifications Required:
1 year inside sales, phone sales or telemarketing experience
Proven negotiation skills
Proficient computer skills, including working experience with Microsoft Office programs.
Must be able to pass a typing test with a minimum of 40 wpm
Must be able to pass order entry and customer service tests with a minimum of 90% on each
Skills and/or Training Desired:
Nutritional background a plus; knowledge of vitamins, dietary supplements and/or the Natural Products Industry.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
