Associate Brand Manager, Source Naturals

Summary of Job Duties:
Responsible for assisting in the design and implementation of Source Naturals annual brand marketing plan.  Analyzes performance, identifies marketing opportunities, contributes strategic and tactical ideas, and provides marketing project support and leadership to support the successful implementation of key marketing initiatives. 
Specific Job Duties:
  1. Marketing analysis:  Analyzes brand sales; industry data and market share performance; identifies opportunities and weaknesses and makes recommendations for growth and improvement.
  2. Forecasting:  Develops new product forecasts, working with Sales.
  3. Advertising and Promotions Implementation Support:  Assists the Brand Manager in implementing advertising and promotion campaigns.  Includes developing sell sheets, campaign forecasts, and working with Sales, production and packaging to ensure programs can be implemented effectively and efficiently.  
  4. Competitive Analysis:  Analyzes competitive packaging, messaging and web strategies to identify opportunities to enhance our brand differentiation and improve our product offerings.
  5. Project Management:  Under the direction of the Brand Manager, develops and manages project plans for consumer print campaigns, new product packaging and promotions, working with in our in house creative team, sales and production as needed. 
  6. Reporting and Presentations:   Creates and distributes performance tracking results, and develops Power Point presentations to support the Brand Mgr and Marketing Director.
  7. Performs all other duties as directed by management.   
Minimum Qualifications Required:
  1. A BA/BS degree is required. MBA preferred.
  2. 2 years of brand/product marketing experience. 
  3. Nutritional supplements, CPG, (consumer packaged goods) or related consumer products industry experience highly preferred. 
  4. A record of consumer marketing contribution and accomplishment.
  5. Demonstrated Marketing analytics skills, including excellent Excel capabilities. Experience analyzing and working with large data sets, Spins and our Nielsen data a plus.
  6. Strong project management, written and verbal communications and organization skills.
  7. The ability to work in a fast paced, team environment. 
  8. A strong consumer and market orientation.
  9. Excellent MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook skills. 
Skills and/or Training Desired:
  1. Interest and ability to work in a fast paced entrepreneurial environment is preferred. 
  2. A passion for natural products is a plus.
